This series of vintage dance classes is taught on Wednesdays, at 7:30 pm at the Wyoming Fine Arts Center located at 322 Wyoming Avenue. Classes are $8 per person, and couples as well as singles are welcome. Visit www.vintagedance.net for more information.

Holistic Movement Therapy and Creative Expression for Dancers and others

See Growth in Motion.

Through performance, workshops, classes, and therapy, Growth in Motion imparts to others the skills needed to deepen ones understanding of the body with its different expressions, ability to heal, and power to build community. Our work draws on personal histories, myth, ritual, literature, psychology, somatic and movement science to transform the traditionally passive audience into active participants of shared movement celebration. Directed by Fanchon Shur, a certified Laban/Bartenieff movement analyst, Registered Movement Therapist and Educator (ISMETA), and a certified practitioner of Brennan Healing Science.
